I submitted those two stories. It was not as annoying or difficult as I’d built it up to be. Funny how that works. I’m going to do more submissions for next time, and hopefully have a new short story written that I’ve been kicking around. I’ve got the characters and setting down, but the plot eludes me.
School is out, which means I have three years of college under my belt. Soon, legal drinking! I’m really pleased that I caught a chemistry-programming internship with my thesis sponsor, so that I can stay in town for the summer.
I’m also very excited that Lindsay Buroker just came out with a new space opera series, Star Nomad. It’s a fun read, like a cross between Firefly and Emperor’s Edge. I’m looking forward to the next two books.
